Ultimate Barbados Beach Day & Snorkel Cruise

About This Experience
The land-based twin of the cruise shore excursion, and the one to book if you are staying on the island: the same beach, the same Tranquility snorkel trip, but open to hotel guests and with return shuttles running late into the evening.
Savvy on the Bay sits on the white sand of Carlisle Bay with gardens, lounging areas, washrooms and a beach bar. The booking covers a welcome drink, a beach chair and a shared umbrella, and an 80-minute Tranquility Cruises snorkel trip where you swim with the turtles and snorkel around a shipwreck.
Return shuttles leave at 1:10pm, 3:20pm, 5:20pm, 7:00pm, 8:30pm and 10:00pm, arranged when you arrive - so you can stay for the sunset, the live music and dinner on the beach rather than leaving mid-afternoon.

Collected promptly. When we got to Carlisle Beach we were given the option of 3 times to be collected for return to our hotel. After choosing sun loungers we were given 30 minutes to settle, have a drink, use the toilet etc and then boarded the boat. First off we were taken to a wreck site to snorkel, and there was an abundance of marine wildlife to see and swim with. Next stop was to search for a turtle and swim with turtles. We were fortunate enough to see 3 turtles. One on the sea bed, one swimming on the surface and another that was on the sea bed and it swam up to the surface. After handing back your snorkelling gear there’s time for a drink and some fun time jumping off the boat or a water slide on the back of the boat. Then you are returned to shore to sunbath / relax in the sea. There is a large selection of catering providers next to the beach and a small shop. All in all a great day out and great value.

We had a fantastic day at the beach. Carlisle Bay is beautiful! Snorkelling was so much fun, and my 6-year-old daughter tried it for the first time. The crew was really helpful and friendly. We saw turtles and shipwrecks, and the views were breathtaking. An unforgettable experience and amazing memories for our family.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between this and the cruise shore excursion?
Same beach and the same snorkel boat. This one is for hotel guests and runs return shuttles until 10:00pm; the shore excursion is sold only to cruise passengers and returns early enough for an all-aboard time.
How long is the snorkel trip itself?
Eighty minutes with Tranquility Cruises, covering the turtle stop and a snorkel around the shipwreck. The rest of the six hours is yours on the beach.
Can I stay for the evening?
Yes - that is the point of the later shuttles. Returns run at 1:10pm, 3:20pm, 5:20pm, 7:00pm, 8:30pm and 10:00pm, and you pick yours on arrival. There is live entertainment and beachfront dining if you stay late.
Is my hotel on the shuttle route?
Hotels within about 12 km of Carlisle Bay are served daily. Further out, the shuttle runs on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only, so check before you book for a specific date.
Are there weight or swimming restrictions?
Yes. The boat is not suitable for non-swimmers and there is a 250 lb (113 kg) limit. A waiver has to be completed before the trip; the link arrives with your ticket.
